Five years textile agreement! A transition to a sustainable garment & textile industry Webinar
The final annual participants event of the Dutch Agreement on Sustainable Garments and Textile takes place on the 30th of November. This online event starts at 13.00 CET.
This special and final AGT event will mark the five and a half years of working together amongst business, civil society and government to make a positive impact in the garments and textile industry. Expect a varied program with stock taking, celebrating the 5.5 years of strong collaboration and looking ahead at the future of due diligence and working together on the sustainable garments and textile industry.
Mariëtte Hamer, President of the Social and Economic Council (SER) will open the event with a keynote. We will then look at the results and the impact of our efforts on companies and their supply chains. What were the expectations at the beginning of the AGT and where are we now? Finally, together with all parties we will look at the phase ahead of us and the importance of continued sectoral multi-stakeholder collaboration.
The main spoken language during the event is Dutch, expect for an expert panel between 3-4pm. The title of this panel is: Looking forward; Sustainable garments and textiles after the AGT.
