Supervision and Administration Section

Areas of concern:

  • industrial organisation under public law
  • administrative affairs: advising on establishing, altering and disbanding industrial and commodity boards; designation of organisations authorised to make appointments to such boards and to the Council; assessment of organisational support for boards. 
  • monitoring: monitoring and approval of decrees concerning budgets and fees; approval of autonomous decrees; theme-driven studies; drafting of overviews
  • publication of the Industrial Organisation Communications and Decrees (PBO-blad)
  • Chambers of Commerce: designation of organisations authorised to make appointments
  • other national and international bodies that the Council advises concerning their composition (e.g. EU committees, ESC)
  • supervision of social and economic councils at regional level
  • collection of dues to support training under the Works Council Act and supervision of the Joint Guidance Institute for Works Councils
